Don't Forget To Renew Your Road Tax!

Not going anywhere fast

A car is wheel-clamped by the DVLA for not renewing their road tax. Now it is paperless, and you don't have to display a paper disc. Some people aren't renewing, and they are consequently getting clamped! This car on Conifer Road, was one a few cars on the same road which was clamped. I believe the clamper force come really early in the morning to do their work.

Traffic Wardens are about on Coxford Road, Near the Southampton General Hospital

I think people assume the traffic wardens don't patrol Coxford Road. I've certainly not seen one walking about, but they probably use their vans to make a quick patrol around the Southampton General Hospital. Three cars were caught on the same road today and issued a fine.

Nearby on Olive Road, the bays are non-metered, but permit 2 hours of stay.

But overstaying leads to a fine. Ouch 4!
